Edinburgh 2017: The New Town's 250th birthday

NEW TOUR!

Grecian Temple in East Queen Street Garden

2017 is the 250th anniversary of the adoption of James Craig's plan for a 'planned, élite suburb' which would eventually separate Edinburgh into 'Old' and 'New' Towns.

To celebrate, Greenyonder Tours has been collecting stories of some of the people who have made the New Town - from the architects and builders, servants and high heid yins, to gardeners and radical campaigners.

See beyond the railings: each tour will include a visit to at least one privately-owned New Town garden.

THIS NEW TOUR WILL BE LAUNCHED TO THE PUBLIC DURING TRADFEST ON

30 APRIL AND 7 MAY. BOOKING DETAILS AVAILABLE SOON.
