Greenyonder Christmas Tours and Gift Vouchers

By popular demand!  To brighten the 'daft days' between Christmas and New Year, Greenyonder is offering two walking tours of the green gems around Edinburgh's Old Town: - Hidden Gardens in Midwinter and Green City Wander.

Treat yourself by booking a tour - or treat a friend to a tour by giving them a Greenyonder gift voucher.

Hidden Gardens in Midwinter Winter in secret garden

A different take on our highly popular Hidden Gardens of the Royal Mile.  Even if you've already done the Hidden Gardens tour, you'll find lots to see and hear about in winter - different plants and vistas, cold weather tales, and some new stories about the people who are creating these wee green gems.  We'll do the tour 'in reverse' by starting at the Scottish Parliament (this means the walk is slightly uphill - well, it's a good cure for post-Christmas sluggishness) then warm ourselves up with mulled wine and mince pies.

Green City Wander

This green-themed tour lets you explore inside a normally-locked urban wildlife garden; see how wildlife is encouraged in the middle of the city and on the Castle Rock; be inspired by the work of Edinburgh's Old Town environmentalists and social reformers past and present; take a different look at Princes Street Gardens in winter - and end the tour with mulled wine and mince pies.
