On The Edge Apple tree

A series of three guided walking tours in different parts of the city, looking at current, sometimes edgier approaches to gardening and green space, including growing food in the city, therapeutic gardening, guerilla gardening, and gardening for wildlife.

These walks on the edge of the city are surprisingly beautiful and filled with interest.

"Couldn't resist getting out to revisit Figgate Park with family on Sunday afternoon. .... Like many of the other green spaces this was one gem I would probably never have discovered on my own. So many thanks for delivering such an interesting and informative series of walks. It's been a revelation! And many thanks too for your careful preparation and the follow-up with useful web links, all of which made every walk so enjoyable. Long may they continue."  Judith, Edinburgh

"I'd like to say how much I enjoyed our series of walks round Edinburgh. I learned so much and through you discovered so many gardens which I hope to revisit in the near future. I felt that everyone in our group was so friendly that it was like meeting old friends each week. This was no doubt due to your very knowledgeable and easy going attitude. Thank you so much."  James, Edinburgh
